ABOUT ME
July 2021 - Present
CANTOR,
TEMPLE SHOLOM, VANCOUVER, CANADA
I am thrilled to have joined the clergy team at Temple Sholom in 2021. Since then, I have been welcomed into this wonderful congregation in Vancouver, Canada. You can find me on the bimah leading Shabbat and holiday services, working with B'nei Mitzvah students, teaching youth and adult education, and organizing events for our Sholom Shishim (Sixty Plus) group. You can listen to recent services on our Youtube page linked below.
August 2019 - May 2021
STUDENT CANTOR, CONGREGATION BETH ELOHIM, BROOKLYN, NY
I had the amazing opportunity to work as the Cantorial Intern at CBE for two years, leading weekly Shabbat services for all ages, teaching religious school t’fillah, tutoring B’nei Mitzvah students, and facilitating adult education on topics ranging from S’lichot liturgy to Basic Judaism classes. When the pandemic hit and CBE went virtual, I collaborated with the clergy, youth artists, and budding musicians to lead creative and unique online High Holy Day experiences for our CBE families. I feel so grateful to have worked in this historic, thriving Brooklyn community.
June - July 2019
TISCH CANTORIAL INTERN, CENTRAL SYNAGOGUE, NEW YORK, NY
During the summer of 2019, I was privileged to serve as the Tisch intern at the world-renowned Central Synagogue in Manhattan. I collaborated with the incredible clergy team and musicians to lead Shabbat services, led the Friday morning Tot Shabbat program, co-led life cycle events, and taught adult Torah study classes. Moreover, I learned about the ins and outs of serving a vibrant community as part of a clergy team.
